Script Bundle Tool 4.2

Script Bundle Tool creates an application bundle from an editable AppleScript source file and a contents folder. When you first use Script Bundle Tool, the contents folder is created automatically and you set the properties: Version, Copyright, Stay Open and Show in Dock. Subsequently, you need only to Select, Launch and Click to create a new build of your application bundle. The source file may be any editable AppleScript application or script document created with Smile or AppleScript Editor. When you build an application bundle, the sub-folders of the project's contents folder are copied into the new bundle's Contents folder and any custom keys in the project.plist file, are written to the new bundle's Info.plist file. A locked and dated copy of the source file is copied to the versions folder, if present. Script Bundle Tool uses AppleScript Editor to create bundles, then modifies the bundle to correct certain errors.

Script Scribe is also included. Script Scribe copies selected text from a Smile document window; Converts the text to dot-indent format and truncates lines so that text wrapping is avoided; Then creates a new Smile text window, named 'Script Scribe', containing this text.

Script Bundle Tool is designed to run on Mac OS X 10.5 and 10.6, Intel.
(Untested in Tiger or PPC.)

VUWER 1.4.1

VUWER (pronounced like viewer ) is an Applescript application designed to remotely track your MacBook or MacBook Pro (or any other Apple computer) in the event that it is lost or stolen. VUWER is not foolproof, but it is reasonably secure, easy to implement, and costs nothing but a little time and effort to set up.

(1) VUWER is free of charge, open source, and relies on standard OS X commands and readily available freeware applications for installation and operation. Also, since VUWER is written in Applescript, it is relatively easy to modify or enhance in any way you choose.

(2) You are in complete control of where the captured data from your stolen laptop is sent and how it is accessed; data can be transmitted either by email or by secure file copy to another computer account.

(3) You can remotely capture screenshots, iSight images, and IP geolocation data from your laptop, and separately choose their respective repetition intervals.

(4) No third-party intermediary is required to track your laptop. VUWER eliminates any possibility of an unscrupulous person at a theft-recovery company snooping on you.
