Here is a simple script that automates the deletion of extraneous icon, cache and plist files that Safari builds up over time. Deleting these files eliminates the drag in Safari's performance and markedly improves the browser's speed.
Release Notes: A minor revision that simplify changing the default settings - dialog boxes to change the default settings have been integrated and are more informative - all defaults and their subsequent changes are shown to the user before the script is finally into action - changes can be done repeatedly, if necessary, before they are finalized
