v1.1 offers an option to create a new category with the same name as the group, and apply that to both the group and its members, even where the group already has another category. This is useful when exporting contacts to programs which cannot import groups - such as Microsoft Outlook or Apple's Mail - so that the groups can be recreated there from the categories of the contacts.
