LowDown is an AppleScript application which takes a folder of images as an argument and returns the individual image's properties into a newly created TextEdit file. The properties returned are: File Name, File Type, Color Space, Resolution, Pixel Dimensions & Image Size (on disk) in KBytes. The properties of each image will be written to the TextEdit file. Here is sample output: ~~~~~ File Name: cptfront.tif File Type: TIFF Color Space: CMYK Resolution = 300.0dpi Pixel Dimensions = 2082.0 x 1176.0 Image Size ? 12701KB ~~~~~ Types of Images readable by LowDown: TIFF JPEG PNGf PICT PSD GIF TGA MacPaint PDF* SGI JPEG 2000 * Only single page PDF files are supported in LowDown™. Note: Folders/Directories containing documents (non-image files) or multi-page PDF files will cause LowDown to exit, and write the error to the TextEdit file.
