Keep10 is an essential addition to AppleWorks. If you active the recent items menu in AppleWorks it does in fact not remember recent items. It keeps all the files you ever opened and shows the first 10 items alphabetically (or whatever number you selected in the AppleWorks preferences). Keep10 is an Applescript that can be attached to the AppleWorks recent items folder. Whenever Appleworks opens a new file, an alias of it is created in the Recent Items folder. Keep10 will continuously monitor all items in the recent items folder and delete everything but the 10 most recent ones. Your AppleWorks recent items menu now functions like expected.
