| A set of Folder Action scripts to create a queue system for automating file/folder processing. Scripts have delay and dialog settings and the ability to group the files/folders into sequential subfolders. Processing details are logged to text files. A readme file and example scripts are provided.
The queue system is easy to setup. Run the setup application to install the scripts and to create the jobqueue folders and also setup Folder Actions. Set the scripts properties values to your liking and insert your files/folders processing script into the jobqueue processing script and your ready to process. Scripts should work with: OS X 10.5.x, 10.4.x, 10.3.x - 10.4.x and above is recommended. Scripts tested with 10.5.6, 10.4.11, 10.3.9 Scripts: jobqueue.scpt: Queueing script, queues files/folders into the queue system. jobprocess.scpt: Processing script, script that does the actually file/folder processing. This is the script you add your processing code to. jobsetup.app: Setup application, installs, sets up Folder Actions and creates jobqueues folder structure. (Some functions do not work on OS X 10.3.x) |

There now is an example scripts readme file. 2.3.5 - Changed the queue folder name. Now the queue folder is named with the jobqueue name and appended by "_queue". This makes it easier to know which queue is for each jobqueue. - Fixed an issue with subfolder groups. Files could get stuck in a loop putting all remaining items within the last subfolder group. - Added more example scripts, image processing, output to file. 2.3.1 - New feature, now you can create sequential subfolders for x amount of items within the completed queue. |
