| function: exports mp3 files of an itunes-playlist to a selectable location (folder), while creating the appropriate folder-structure. Purpose: using itunes with other (hard- or software-)players or to do back ups playlist-based. Usage: select a playlist in iTunes, start the script, set the name/location of the playlist-file, set the folder where the copies of the soundfiles should be placed. Result: copies of the soundfiles of a playlist in the structure "copyfolder:artist:album:track", a.m3u playlist-file. New in version 2: option to ignore or convert non-MP3 formats. apple-proteced-files (".m4p") will always be ignored. |
