This pair of scripts provides a handy way to store and retrieve frequently-used text snippets, such as your address, phone number, e-mail sig, low-value passwords (caution--stored clips are not encrypted), or other boilerplate. I've tried several multi-clipboard utilities but was never quite satisfied with the way any of them handle permanent text clips. What I have in mind is actually quite simple, so I wrote this pair of scripts to do it the way I want. The scripts work great with keyboard shortcut utilities like iKey or from the script menu.
