| Tested in OSX. Changes the file name of an MP3 file to the iTunes song name in the iTunes catalog so that they remain consistent (you only have to do the edit maintenance in one place). The script changes the disk file name(s) to "song-name".mp3. A one line change in the script changes the name to "artist - song.name".mp3 and/or drops the extension. The script handles duplicate names and missing disk files. Place this in your /users/name/Library/iTunes/Scripts folder which is where you install the script set Apple provides on their site. | ||
