| Initially created as a custom solution for a commercial printer, Catalyst JobClerk Lite creates a new job folder and sorts files, folder or disk contents, including all nested folders, into a typcial print job folder hierarchy (ie., Output Files, Links, Fonts). Because JobClerk Lite moves every file of a given file type at once, as opposed to one file at a time, it runs very fast. A disk consisting of 500 files can be sorted in as little as 2 minutes; an average job of 30-50 files takes only seconds. The full version of Catalyst JobClerk includes a folder definition tool which allows the user to define an unlimited folder hierarchy with respective file types and file actions (ie., move to folder, copy to folder). |
