| This script will open a new document in MS Word and address a letter to the contact you have selected in Entourage's Address Book, or in Custom Views or Search Result windows, with a date line in the format you prefer, a salutation ("Dear [Contact]"), and a signature block as well if you wish. All you do is write the letter. This version is for Office 2004. It looks for the new Stationery file type made by Word 2004 and does not allow any other, uses the new Word 2004 AppleScripting and, finally, Unicode. |

| Most of the scripts here have been "stuffed" as .sit files for downloading, and require Stuffit Expander to open them into normal folders. Inside the folder you will find both the actual script file and ReadMe with full instructions. Apple used to include (up to and including Panther OS 10.3.9) a copy of Stuffit Expander with every OS on every computer, so the .sit files would open automatically when double-clicked and downloaded (if Safari is set to open "safe" files). With Tiger (OS 10.4) that is no longer the case. To open .sit files, download Stuffit Expander from

| This was eactly what I had been looking for. Unfortunately I downloaded but there was no instruction on how to use it/install/set up. Trying to open the downloaded .sit file produced a request to nominate a programme to read it and so I nominated Entourage (2004). Unfortunately this just opened a new email screen. I have tried a few times to get this to work but without success. | ||
